Vegan Sloppy Joes

A few people have commented on my blog and asked for details about my famous vegan sloppy joes recipe. Ok then:

Start with a green bell pepper and an onion:

Chop them up:

Sautée them in a pan with some garlic & olive oil:

Add the Soy Protein (i use Smart Ground).

Stir in the Sloppy Joe Sauce. I use a canned version, because i’m lazy. You could probably make it happen with a blend of tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic, and olive oil.

Simmer the ingredients on low heat to let the flavors blend together, like so:

Butter a soft bun and pile on the vegan sloppy joe mix:

Put the buns together and ENJOY!
